If anyone wishes to take part the club would cover the cost
There is a course aimed at anyone who wishes to undertake training to become an umpire which takes place on Sunday 9th March at St Josephs College i Ipswich from 9.30 to 4.
We understand that a similar course will also take place in Colchester on March 29th.

You will be required to pay for the course in full (£70) but the Umpires Association will refund half of the fee after 10 matches in the Two Counties have been completed.
Uptake for this was good last year and we hope that this will continue this year.

If any member would like to take part please contact David Barker on david@ejbarker.co.uk as a club we will help aspiring umpires and will help, it might mean umpiring a few games in return for the course.
