Monty Panesar to play at the Victory Ground

The cricket season commences on Saturday with Bury St Edmunds fielding there teams, a special attraction will be the appearance of former England spin bowler Monty Panesar who is due to make his debut for Great Witchingham in the East Anglian Premier League, the match is 50 overs per side commencing at 11.00 am. Bury St Edmunds welcome Nikethan Radhakrishnan whose brother played last season to the team. Bury's 2nd team travel the short distance to play Woolpit's 2nd team and on the second ground Bury's 3rd team are at home to Brightlingsea.
The club much appreciate all their sponsors with Greene King maintaining their support with The Holden Group supporting Junior Cricket and Byron Burgers providing a voucher to the young player each week. The other new sponsors are Jewson, Ipswich School, Seama Leasing, The UK Shared Prosperity Fund and Sportsman's Lodge of Suffolk.
The new outdoor nets are proving a very popular addition and please see the note below regarding their hire.

Up to 2 Hours - £75
Up to 3 Hours - £105
Up to 4 Hours - £135
Up to 5 Hours - £165
Up to 6 Hours - £195
Above 6 Hours - rates available on application

Use is strictly subject to our ‘Code of Conduct’

Any Under 18s must wear a batting helmet and be supervised at all times by a responsible Adult or an ECB qualified coach
